Introduction course GreekThe Introduction Course Greek is especially suitable for people who are interested in the Greek language, without having any foreknowledge. It offers the opportunity of getting a first impression of the richness of this language. Because this course is relatively short, just one session of 3 hours, it offers participants a good chance as well to gauge their motivation for attending the longer courses. During this short course you will learn reading and writing
the Greek alphabet. We‘ll exercise the main greetings:
how, whom, where and when do you greet? You‘ll be taught
to introduce yourself in different ways, to tell how you are

You‘ll learn the numbers until 12. And to ensure that you

In the courses we especially aim at developing the ability to use the Greek you‘ve learned. Therefore all issues are being repeated in lively conversation exercises. Duration: 5 sessions 3 hours each. Greek individualThe course Greek Individual offers the participants the possibility of getting to work with the Greek language in a completely individual way. You fill in the lessons according to your own wishes. Duration: About 1 ½ hour per lesson. Greek for childrenMany children like it to learn some Greek during their holidays in Greece. This summer again there is a special course Greek for Children You learn reading and writing the Greek alphabet, greetings, how to introduce yourself, the time, counting, all about eating and drinking, the names of animals and many more. Duration: 1 ½ hour per lesson. Course leaderAll language courses are given by Corinne Falagaris. Born in the Netherlands she studied Dutch Language and Literature, German and Art History in Utrecht (NL), Berlin, Munich and Cologne (Germany). Since 1996 she has lived on Crete, where she taught for 6 years at the Dutch School in Chania. Since 1998 she organizes various workshops and language courses in Sougia.
